Jacob Pfeifer
Hi, my name is Jacob Pfeifer. I'm currently attending OHS, Owatonna High School. My free time (after homework and piano practice of course) is dedicated to solving my Rubik’s cubes. My collection is up to around 5 cubes (among other shapes). My record is 14.053 seconds, and will hopefully someday be even lower!
when I go to college, I plan on majoring in computer science. I might also pursue a math minor. I hope to be able to attend MIT, because they have the best computer science program in the country. In college, I would also like to continue to play a lot of piano and also play saxophone in band.
This year, I plan on doing a lot of self-guided learning. There are many things that I want to learn that my school doesn't offer courses for, including multivariable calculus, music theory, physics, and computer science. I would like to make senior year fulfilling by continuing participation in activities like cross country, track, robotics, math league, 4H, and National Honor Society. I also want to continue to challenge myself and grow in musical areas by taking lessons and practicing piano, saxophone, and pipe organ.
